Helping brands create engaging and

delightful conversational experiences

Picture of Inge De Bleecker

Hi, I am Inge.

I’m the person behind outriderUX.

I’ve spent the last 20 or so years as a practitioner, leader and mentor in user experience and conversational AI.

My goal is to help teams create useful and enjoyable conversational experiences that address real use cases and well-defined business goals. I work on text-based chatbots and voice assistants, using either traditional NLU or generative AI (or a combination). I’ve built and user tested transactional assistants for regulated industries, such as customer service applications for car insurance policy updates as well as relational experiences such as mental health wellness applications and productivity assistants.

I am available for freelance or fractional engagements in conversational AI strategy, research and design.

You can find me on LinkedIn. Connect, follow or message me; always happy to chat!

Remote Usability Testing Book Cover

Remote Usability Testing Book

Rebecca Okoroji and I wrote this book about remote usability testing in 2018, before remote became a thing. We wrote it as a reference for ourselves and are happy to share our notes.

The book explains how to conduct qualitative remote usability studies, both remote moderated and unmoderated studies, and how to use surveys to gather qualitative feedback. There are loads of actionable tips on how to use each methodology. And we’ve added materials and examples on the companion website that you can access under “Book” in the Resources menu at the top of this page.
